Complex Airplane Training

This course provides the applicant with the required ground and flight training in a Complex Airplane from an authorized flight instructor in order to receive a one-time endorsement in the pilot’s logbook certifying the applicant is proficient in the operation and systems to operate a Complex Airplane.
 
The course scheduled time is determined by the flight instructor and applicant’s schedule.

Please note: Course completion will be at the discretion of the FAA Certified Flight Instructor in order to determine that the applicant is competent and proficient in the operation and systems of a Complex Airplane.
 

Student must provide proof of:

  • US Citizenship (http://bit.ly/2i4iVc4)
  • Copies of certificates/ratings
  • Government issued photo ID. 
  • (Medical or BasicMed highly encouraged, but not required)

Phase 3: Master Quality Technician Schedule

Phase 3 of the Quality Technician certificate program will equip the student with higher-level skills needed for quality leadership and competence in the quality assurance role. Candidates will discuss and apply management concepts needed to successfully lead a major project. They will develop and utilize statistical skills to maintain and control quality in manufacturing processes and interpret trends in data that indicate a whether processes are operating within control limits. Finally, students will explore and employ principles for inspection of goods that ensure accurate measurements and the conformity of finished products to technical specifications. Upon completion of this phase students will be eligible to receive the Quality Technician Advanced Workforce Certificate.

*Prerequisite: Quality Technician Basic and Advanced Quaility Certificate

Advanced Quality Technician Schedule

Phase 2: Advanced Quality Technician Schedule

In Phase 2, students will explore the process of making products and various methods used to convert raw materials into finished goods that conform to design specifications. Building on the introduction to quality from Phase 1, students will identify and apply modern concepts of Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management to the manufacturing and quality processes. Finally, candidates will identify and apply the concepts of GD&T (consistent with the ASME Y14.5 -2009 standard), and describe how Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is used in technical drawings to fully describe all features of parts and ensure proper function of those parts in assemblies. Students completing this phase will be eligible to receive the Advanced Quality Technician Workforce Certificate.

Quality Technician Schedule

Students will learn about industry safety, and apply safe work practices consistent with OSHA requirements. They will explore quality history, schools of quality thought, and demonstrate quality concepts. Additionally, candidates will create and interpret technical drawings to ensure products conform to design requirements. Students completing these courses are eligible to receive the Quality Technician Basic Workforce Certificate.
