Information Technology has been called the lifeblood of business operations because it plays a key role in how information is created, stored, exchanged and used throughout the business world today. IT specialists are in high demand, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has forecast that the field will grow by 12 percent through 2024, well above average for all career fields.



Advanced to UNIX/Linux

Continued instruction in the UNIX operating system, including system administration functions. Emphasis will be placed on setting up and maintaining file systems, networks, devices, and users. This course helps prepare the student to take the current CompTIA Linux + certification exam.  

*Prerequisite: Introduction to UNIX/Linux or instructor approval.
