Information Technology has been called the lifeblood of business operations because it plays a key role in how information is created, stored, exchanged and used throughout the business world today. IT specialists are in high demand, and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has forecast that the field will grow by 12 percent through 2024, well above average for all career fields.



Enterprise Security

Information security for the entire organization from a management perspective. Topics include the history and development of computer and network security, system development life cycle, user needs, threats, attacks, risk analysis and management, legal & ethical issues, policy & procedure development, converged network security, cryptology, tools & techniques, physical security, operational security, implementation & administration, personnel security, contingency planning, incident handling and disaster recovery. Students will complete several projets to help reinforce the material.
