generous grant as a Visual Artist from the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa and had an exhibit

called “Oklahoma Porches” which were 8x10 polaroids. Her first teaching position was Underwater

Photography. A certified Divemaster, she would take students on trips to various islands and would

develop their film in her bathroom at their hotel, critique in the morning, then out for a day of

more u/w photography. 27 years ago, she opened her own business, Apertures Photography.

Natalie is an officer and has served on the board of the Oklahoma Heart Gallery since 2002.

She recruits volunteers to photograph “waiting children” who need to be adopted.

Most of the children are adopted from their beautiful photographs that travel the state of

Oklahoma. Natalie has been teaching Photography for TCC since 2007. She enjoys stays involved in

helping students with their own photographic projects.
