Child Development 

The Child Development academic program at Tulsa Community College is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children Associate Degree program (NAEYC). Child Development programs will prepare students for a variety of careers working with young children and their families. 
 


 

Quality Child Care

The course is designed for individuals who are planning a child care business, or in-home child care center. Participants will learn how to plan and implement a safe, healthy, high-quality program from the care of young children. Areas of study will include staffing, environment, health and safety services, family involvement, quality relationships and other relevant topics. Students will learn to identify and address new child care business challenges, and establish goals for continuous improvements.

If you are enrolled in "Quality Child Care," you are eligible to purchase a Student ID for $5 to access TCC Library services and the Fitness Center for the Summer semester. After your purchase, go the Student Services department on any TCC Campus to have your student ID created.
